hmm, you might be everyone's favorite GP guy. The folks here have been looking for projectors for 04+ for a long time. I'm not sure if they figured it out (they may have). Those look good.

They weren't hard to find, and they are a lot better quality than the projectors that I had for my old '03 Eclipse GT. I don't know what all is involved with taking the stock ones out, but I hope it is as easy as the eclipse was...
 
Alright, the band clamps came in. So that's it for things needed to get the headers put on. Most likely will not do that this weekend though... Weather permitting, I will drain the transmission and replace the filter, along with putting on the tail light covers and maybe putting on the front headlights. I'll try to take before and after pictures.

Aparently, the guys over at Summit Racing thought I needed a shave, they sent me a free, schick hydro 5 shaver. Too bad I have a Braun self cleaning electric razor, lol.

Got the head lights put on. Turns out there's only one bolt holding them on and a sliding bracket that locks them in. I will upload pictures later on.
 


Finished wrapping the front bank header not too long ago. Had to go take a shower after doing so as well. I hate fiberglass! I also used what was left of the first roll to do two of the primaries on the rear bank header. I've still got another 50 ft. roll left so I'm pretty sure I will extra left when I'm done with it all.

Okay, I got the transmission oil and filter changed out today. I was going to do the supercharger oil as well, but the hex part of the plug to the oil port stripped out on me. Is this common on these cars? What's a good way to get the old plug out?
 
If it's just a plug and you are going to replace it with another you can try to either hammer in a larger sized socket, that might give you enough grip to get it turning to take it out.

I think this is what I will try to do. I've got an impact hammer, but no allen head sockets to go on it. I'll have to buy some and try this out and see how it goes. Wish me luck!
 


Okay, I think I've got a plan to fix the stripped oil plug on the supercharger. I'll grind a notch into it with my dremel that will fit my biggest flat head bit on my impact screwdriver. I'll then beat that bit into the newly cutout slot and tap on the screwdriver with a hammer until it breaks free.

Thoughts anyone?
 
doh! sorry, I was still waking up this morning and didn't realize where the plug was. Yes, slotting and using a screwdriver will work. Just make sure you have the new plug before you do it. (it has been recommended on here before as well.)

...I guess it's a "common" problem, it comes across the boards every once in a while.
