AWD Grand Prix G8 concept vid

RWD would be far better at putting down the power, but for a daily driver I would choose the AWD. It would work better than even FWD in the winter. From GM's POV if they were going to build a RWD GP then it would be to similar to the Firebird. But making it AWD opens up a new market niche.
 


for reference, my car makes ~170 hp at the crank and only ~130 hp at the wheels. AWD drivetrain loss is crazy.

Awsome, $36,500 and it comes with a scrap title and you can't register it for street use :(.

Guess I'd have to scrap my car and switch VIN's :th_winking:.

Seriously, GM dropped the ball on AWD, If they would have done it the the Cavalier or Cobalt with the 260 HP motor the could have had a serious little ralley car on thier hands. Bio would be lusting after that instead of those ugly little Subaru's :th_laugh-lol2:.
 
Man.. think about it though.. if it were AWD then we can do some crazy drift video's lol

That woulda been sick to see a lowered, flushed out GP getting sideways ;)
 
if anyone you where around when this was released. Almost every time that car made a 1/4 mile run it almost always broke something in the awd system.
 


i dig it, thats exactly what id like to drive minus the v8 part. i want the rims and the hood.
