• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

F-Body brakes are on.

I'm breaking them in so I don't know how much better they are yet. I went with the whole package fromn ZZP.

powerslot rotors?

Yes. It's weird, as if I can feel the slots as they go by the pads. Is That normal? I put them on as I had to go through state inspection. They passed very easily. The test is only at about 5 mph but the system that checks the balance between wheels seems fairly sophisticated. It failed my stock CompG brakes, saying the right wheel had 30% less power than the left. This was my next mode anyway.

i have 12 in powerslot cryoed rotors on front. and reg powerslots on back. alotta ppl down talk them but they have EXCELLENT stopping power with my hawk PC pads. i had my original powerslots on the direction u have them.. but the instructions for the cryoed that i just bought said for optimal performance the slots are supposed to be faced the other direction. and yea u can kinda feel the slots but i love'm they kick ass in the rain.. especially with slots facing other way.

Both of my powerslot rotors are the same, just like the pics on the ZZP websight. I see lower in the powerslot rotor picture that they do also face the other way. So, one faces the back and the other faces the front. I wonder if that's a problom, it doesn't seem to be. I have the Power Stop brake pads.

they should be facing the same direction... the papers that came with my rotors stated that for appearance, it wont hurt to have them facing the way urs are pictured. but also stated for them function properly when wet they should be facing the other way,

I'll try to contact the company.

the rotors aren't flat. so your gonna feel the grooves! when i ordered mine from that dumbass on here. he only had drilled and slotted. they are better performance wise, but for daily driving and comfort. you shoulda just went with the drilled rotors!

i feel the brakes have alot more initial "bite" to them. seems to make the car dive more in front, for them fast turns that you don't wanta slow down for! lol

My friend has the 12" f-body brakes on his GS, and going from my car (with stock brakes) to his i could tell a huge difference. and yes of course,

I'm not totally sold on that. I think the calipers are superior to the ones that came off. And if you increased swept area when you change that could help, I didn't, I had 12" brakes. Although I agree, pads are the key part.

You can't compare different cars LOL.

The condition of even the brake booster affects braking.

And larger rotors move the bias to the front which is where it should be especially if your suspension is soft.

Best money you can spent in terms of brakes is pads.
