need help with 99 grand prix

I need some advise My 99 grand prix will not shift out of park till it sits and runs for a couple minutes, then it will shift fine,it is a 3.8 automatic and it does have a alarm system could that cause the problem.

Maybe whoever did the wiring screwed something up...post this up in the transmission section it might help you better there.

yeah 4 post in,you dont know how long I been messing with it.whats the deal is there a bunch of smart a##'s on this site or what..
