Ok I am new so I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot but I need some help. Yesterday I took my 08 Grand Prix to the mall and everything was fine. When I went to leave it would not start, it would just keep cranking but would never role over. When I turn it on the gauges usually do their BIT test but now they just raise a mm or two for a second and fall back down. Everything electronic still works perfectly fine. I had a mechanic look at it this morning and we noticed the 2/5 coil pack was cracked, I replaced that and tried again but still nothing. I have tried the steps to reset when the theftlock is engaged but still nothing. Neither I or my mechanic are sure what is wrong now and I really don't want to pay the dealership to look at it so I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas. Thank you in advance for the help.
 


Are there any codes

FOr an engine to run you need fuel spark and air
start simple check for spark then fuel and you should narrow your problem down
 
Ok, sorry for not responding to the help, after I replaced the coil pack I found out that the ignition module was blown and had to be replaced. Sorry again for not updating just been running around for past couple days but your help was greatly appreciated.
