i tried emailing you hrough your hotmail account guess its not working i need a trans tune. Im putting a L67 in my gt andi have 3.29 gears but the computer is set for 2.93's. Also the guy that i got the motor from ripped some of the wires off of he harness an i was wondering if i could use my 99 gt motor harness on the 2000 gtp motor. Need your help reptile

i dont think u can use a GT harness... i however have a L67 harness somewhere around here if interested.

^True, no bbv, but that's not a big deal. I can do up a PCM, that's not a problem at all for the trans, however, top swap tunes are very touchy, and I don't feel comfortable just doing up a canned tune for that. I recently did a top swap for Gafford, and we're still ironing the bugs out of that one.

And I just checked my hotmail, I've got one email from the 3rd asking about a trans tune for an L67 swap, I assume that's you? Sorry I didn't get that sooner, I don't check that account every day.

hes doin a full L67 motor swap... not top.

Man, don't know how I missed that! Then you can use your GT harness, you will however need to use the GTP MAP sensor connector, and then you won't have the bbv wiring from that harness. You're still good to go, all you need is the PCM tune.
Won't be a problem doing that trans file modding for you.

It'll probably be tomorrow night before I find it.

im soory i dont understand all of the language you all use yet lol. what is a bbv, and the wiring? and why would i have to use my gtp map sensor connector and i couldnt just use my gtp one?

im new to boost so i dont fully understand all of this yet but i will not stupid just not informed correctly on all of this stuff. might need to go into a little more detail for the less knowledgable

There is a HUGE thread on the Top Swap and what it entails...or even the motor swap...in the N/A section. First off...I think you mean your GT MAP sensor...that is because the GT doesn't have one...since hte MAP is there to read boost. Yes...you have to wire it in...and the BBV, boost bypass valve.

Hey reptile i have a 99+ tb that ill trade you for a trans tune. Im just gonna get some of the connectors off of my gt wiring harness to fix the gtp harness. I need the trans tune bad. If you wanna trade let me know

Ya now that I go back I see what...too much work to edit it though...you know what I mean...Brian never does.
