I just bought my car about a month ago and decided I wanted to make the exhaust sound sweet. After scheduling an appt. and the local muffler shop I was on my way to the gas station to get some 91. This chick pulled up to the red light with the music blairing, so i turned up my tunes. she looked over and gave a nod and a wink. the light turned green, black smoke spewed out of the stacks and she started pulling. i gave her a little head start and then i really put her down. I passed her before we got halfway to the next light. first succesful kill, i would say it was legit, even though it was a chick.

She probably got out of it then...a chipped duramax with stack would have pwned your car on the street...especially if it was a stock L67 car.

Well my car has got the upgraded 1.0 pcm, FWI, 3.4 pulley, and put exhaust on it today. I thought it was pretty legit for my first "race" in the car. I dont know if it was chipped but it looked pretty sweet.

what 'exhaust'? if you dont have at least a downpipe youre messing your car up with that 3.4 pulley.

OK, having owned a Duramax with a stack on it I can tell you that they do not smoke very much stock (or with Banks programers). If it rolled coal it had something done to it. You would have known if she really got on it cause it would have been MOVING. Those trucks are stupidly quick (for a diesel truck). Just adding a programmer can have those trucks turning out 450+ hp and 750+ lb-ft of torque. There's nothing like getting 18+ mpg while pulling 13k lbs and smoking out the intersection as you pull away from the light.
Damn, I miss that truck......

I use to race my buddy's chipped, exhaust, duramax all the time. He'd smoke me off the line and right around 80 I'd pass him. You need to brake boost those things in 4wd off the line.
