Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

any monte carlo?

as a Monte Carlo SS owner who has successfully completed a top swap, I will say it IS a PITA... mainly because different years call for different things to be changed in the PCM. The trans has differences 03 and up, and the security ****, and once youre past that you're good.

but its mainly the tuning that will get you on the Montes with a top swap.

Just got out of my 97 GP GT I'd had for 10 yrs. and got a 06 monte carlo ls with low miles. Since the cars are sort of similar I'm sure I'll Love the monte.

So, to answer your question, yes, there is at least one new monte carlo owner on here.

Another Monte Around.
Its a SS with a complete SC transplant including trans. Comp Cams 1.9 rockers and headers to 3 inch exhaust. Right now its a series 2. Have a series 3 sitting waiting for a port job.

It's currently not intercooled. I'll start another topic about my Monte so that this one can go back to talking about other people's Monte's.
