i guess i did know that but didnt think of it when i think of usiing and ls i think fuel injection automatically but still comes down to what i can find for the right cost
LS1 in one of those cars...screw old motors with old technology.
Top fuel funny cars on based on your "old technology." I don't see LS1 based motors making 8,000 horsepower. You can mismatch parts and still make 500 horsepower out of a BBC. ( cam too big, compression too low, etc) Carbureted v8's may not knock down the mileage an LS1 can, but they certainly still have their place.
Well, I'm a fan of the Nova. 383 is nice, but the big block has more allure to it. That and a Turbo 400 and you'll be having fun.

or something like a 502 or some crazy ****
i figure ill do the engine first then trans
then find the car to put it in
I don't know where the hell you hang out at, but if you say pro cars are using "old technology", you have no clue what you're looking at...
Although I'm not a big Olds fan, that's the only one I'd choose, the other body styles I was never fond of.
