Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Steering wheel...

These things release by clips, those screws only purpose is to hold that plastic part on the back of the wheel, you will see two slots on each side, kind of looks like a triangle, I made myself a tool that looks like this...

Auto Tools - Steering Wheel - GM SIR AIRBAG MODULE RELEASE TOOL - HOT ROD AUTO SUPPLY

Takes just a few seconds to remove, its like springs that hold the airbag module in the wheel.

If your stuck two short flat headed screwdrivers can work, however it is a pain most of the time and just scratches up the wheel or other plastic parts.

that looks alot like my spark plug puller without the ruber tips...

hmmmmm. maybe a use for that useless tool afterall!

I finally got the airbag off and did what I wanted to do with those silver pieces that were all scratched up. It wasn't to hard. I used 2 flathead screw drivers. No damage to any plastic either. :) I wrapped those pieces in black seude. Heres a before and after pic.

Here is a pic of the steering wheel with the airbag off, and of the clips that hold it on. I have put red circles around the clips that hold it on. There is one bar on each side, that goes from one hole to the other. The bar and those fastners are spring loaded. It's possible to get one released at a time if you pull up on the corner of the airbag your working on.
I wish I had these pics before I did this. It would have made it alot easier. These fasteners aren't exactly common, lol. Hopefully it can help someone else if they need to get the airbag off.
