My new Daytona

Just picked up my first Grand Prix. It's a 98 Grand Prix GTP Daytona edition, I paid $1000 for it, it has just under 180k on the clock and needs the transmission rebuilt, i've tore down a 4t65 before so i'm going to try to tackle this one myself, it should make for an interesting couple of weeks.

and back to stock
Luckily i have another parts car i used the engine out of for my fiero, so i have plenty of parts to fix it up with.
By the way how do i find out what build number Daytona this is, the interior plate is missing.

i am in the process of putting a 3800sc into my fiero, i bought a car that a tree fell on and took it out. totally un-related to the daytona, but i have a lot of parts to make the daytona better. i hope this clears it up. Oh and on a side note, I got the car on Pontiac tribute day (The 1st) using an Aztek, but a total coincidence.

How about this, we forget i mentioned anything about a fiero, lets just say i have a parts car without a motor, it's black you can see parts of it from the pictures.

Hey everything else is right, the torque star rims are in the trunk along with the Daytona center caps, and not all of them had roof rails. truly it's just missing the center council Plate. Is there an RPO code or vin registry for this kind of thing.

no number plate, no roof rails, wtf. so its basically a gulf blue GTP with daytona stickers?

Roof rails were not available on these daytona's. Pretty good deal with the minor fixes that need to be done to it. Keep us updated on the progress.

well Yesterday i got the transmission out and tore down. I found the problem was a broken oil pump shaft.

And here are just some random tear down pics. I should get my rebuild parts tomorrow, and i can continue rebuilding. The pictures are kind of backwards but this is tear down.
