Official SpyderAuto Projector Headlights Info

No thanks necessary, but you're welcome. Just relaying info I pick up to save some time for those that have put the real effort into these projectors. Easier to get real info out on GPF than on "some" other forums. I'll try to help keep everyone as up to date as possible. John, will bring the real info.
 


Semi-update: The projectors are out of Customs and at SpyderAuto now. Chromius and John did an install and initial output pics last night in the rain. I don't have any specifics or details of the install, etc. Chromius has more pics and higher quality that I (or John if he wishes) will add when they come, but here are some pics from John's cell. The passenger's side is chrome with HID, the driver's side is black with halogen bulb. I'm assuming a group buy is coming very soon and a new thread will be started in the group buy section.

Hey guys, the lights are here and we're going to be releasing them for group buy purchase most likely.... before the end of the day. Here's some light output pics. Passenger side is fitted with an h1 HID 8000k. With this kit, no modification to the lights were necessary..

20 Black? Are they blacked out or something? I don't remember seeing any other pictures other than the chrome looking ones.
 
The lens is still clear, the housing is just black. If John hasn't by then I'll post the rest of the pics that Chromius put up and the production photos John posted. They look good and not many of them to go around, but you never know who will actually end up buying.

Well, officially, from spyderauto: no, you can't put HID's in them

Unofficially, they test fit the HID's, they fit fine, in both black and chrome :th_thumb-up:
 
looking forward to these!!! and yes i hope my 6k HID will make these all the more beautiful... now maybe i will really be able to see at night!!!

Man this is a calm forum! The group buy has been active for an hour and a half and no freak outs here! From what I gather the second batch has arrived as well already. I believe that puts it at 100 chrome and 100 black. Make sure to call, IM, etc. John if you are interested in the group buy pricing.

$350 shipped in the US (black or chrome)
$450 shipped in the US (with HIDs)
-Details still pending on these, if interested let him know and he will figure out options. Also as mention, HIDs will void the factory warranty if that is the route you choose.

These are already posted by vendors for anywhere from $442-$500+ shipped (not including HIDs), so save yourself a bundle and support a great vendor. More pics to come as well. is it too late to place an order, i just got online to find out this new and exciting info. I tried the phone way but it didnt work, so i tried the aol instant messenger thing and it said it went to his mobil phone. I really hope i can get a set
