Can someone tell me where i can find the torque specs for:

- Trans to motor bolts
- Half shaft bolts
- Diff cover bolts
- Torque converter bolts
- Other???

Any last minute advice?

Thanks!:)

im not gonna lie, i didnt use any torque specs or a torque wrench at all when i did my transmission swap. most of that stuff is good as 'tight'. stuff in the motor and transmission is more specific.

 Even for the half shaft and the torque converter!

i'm installing over $5.5k in my car....I wanna make shure nothing breaks because a bolt came loose or breaks

Trans to motor bolts: 55 ft lbs

Half shaft bolts: anywhere from 118 to 159 depending on the year. for your year its 118 ft lbts

Diff cover bolts: n/a

Torque converter bolts: 46 ft lbs

FYI, 40-50 ft lbs is what most consider "tight" so nick was pretty close minus the axle nut.

GREAT THANKS MAN!!!

I just spent all day looking everywhere! For the 04+ the information is rare...

The only reason you'd swap is if you're putting a trans in that didn't belong aka it has a different bolt pattern since its for a different engine with a different flex plate.

BTW, dont worry, i'm not the one swaping the trans, i just needed the torque specs because the guy doing the job didnt have it, is there anything else that will be remouved that need a specific torque?

-tie rod end?
-ball joint?
-end link?
-???
