What pulley can headers and cai run ?

Hey i had my 3.8 stock pulley on my car but i took it off when i first bought it b.c i was afraid of KR. I just installed headers and a CAI . I was curious if i could put it back on or if i can even go smaller with the mods supporting it. Well my question is what size can my car handle with headers and cai. thanks.

get a 180 tstat al104s and a tune and you should be able to toss on a 3.4

Ummm.. Dont know what to say to this.. But the damn belt back on for now.. And then get a scanner. Then get you some colder plugs, delete the ubend if you havent, get you a 3.4 and scan scan scan...
 
Yeah now that you have headers on then you should be able to get a tune and throw the 3.4" pulley on. The stock 3.8" could have been left on as its just the stock size so it shouldn't present any problems.

The biggest thing to do after putting the pulley and tune on the car is to SCAN!!! find someone who can do it or buy an aeroforce gauge and watch the kr.
 


wait a minute...our cars can run without a sc belt? dude ur name must be refering to actual rice from a chinese diner as u aint beating a stock honda without a belt on your car. thats the dumbest **** i ever heard. next take the throttle body off and see if that makes less kr lol

Yes they will run with out the belt, so looks like you are pretty smart there also.
 
its always friendly But please tell me you have a belt on the blower
it was designed with a 3.8 so some kr is acceptable is what i was getting at in my other post
 
Ya the belt is on. I actually have a 3.4 on the way but first im going to pick up some spark plugs. I was curious how many new spark plugs i need to buy ? 6 Autolite 104's ?
 


buy a scanner and scan for KR that way you will know how much you have and wont be worried about it throughout your modding process
 
ok man, i just spent a fair amount on the headers and cai but ill get some extra cash in soon. as far as the kr scanner goes, would buying a guage that detects kr be good enough ? ive seen a couple for around 200 each, im not sure if thats what your refering. im new to modding gtp's so... thanks:th_thumbsup-wink:
