"the ****ty honda engine and bad workmanship does it."

Ok normally I would just ignore comments like this but,

We have a 2006 Saturn Vue with a Honda 3.5L 60 deg V6 in it. And if anything it makes the 3800 look really bad.

its 250HP N\A with a very nice torque curve. Tho what would you expect from 10.5:1 compression (on 87 octane) 4 valves per cylinder and variable valve timing with aluminum heads and block.

Not only this, but it also sounds better then a 3800 especially above 4500rpm where the valve timing changes.

Don't get me wrong, I bought my GP because it had the 3800 III in it and I knew it was reliable. But to insult all Honda engines when some of their V6's are amazing seems wrong and ignorant.

And you got the dumbed down version. :th_nanana:

dumbed down version of which? :)
my 3800 III is N\A so that in a sense I guess is dumbed down.

And the Honda J-35 in the Saturn vue is SOHC and only changes exhaust valve timing so that in a way is dumbed down also :) I think there are DOHC variants doing 270-290hp.
