• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Getting new subs want opinons.

That's why that note that is 2+times louder is low enough that it is almost never in the every day music. and trust me thet rest of the system will keep up!

If its that low then its useless for SPL or your box is about 50 cubic feet :th_thumbsup-wink:

And the rest of your system probably can't keep up, you probably have the sub set to be obnoxiously louder than the rest of it.:th_nanana:

Ya Probably because you know me. It is actually quite easy to tune an eq so general listening sounds clean, and being obnoxious is only a couple of dials away.

EQ ****s up your phase response so its not worth it :)
Maybe not to you but that is the nice thing about being an idividual. And over processing ****s up your phase response. Tell the system what notes not to send to amp and how sharp to come in and out = SQ, IMO.:th_thumbsup-wink:

Read it again and pay special attention to the punctuation. My opinion is on what equals SQ.
To each his own man. We both know what we think we are talking about. I'm not not on the forum to have a measuring contest. I am on here to learn, and to help when I can, I learned a few things from this thread. Anyways, peace.

you basically said crossovers = SQ and thats not true at ALL since the speakers response greatly affect SQ.

Thanks for peacing from the thread so soon instead of explaining in detail what exactly you mean. :p

I'd watch your ASSumptions TC ;) How do you know he doesn't have enough power for those numbers?

lmao. Where do I even find an Audio Control mic anymore? I've been competing dB Drag (TERM LAB) for 6 years now.. This year I've only competed Bass Race (I'm sure you know what that is...) but, just for the non believers, at the next db drag show, I'll put up a certified score in street C.

Oh, that 146.2 @ 40hz was on the window.. legal.. sealed.. with a term lab. AC mic I'd be way over 150 buddy... I have pictures me of doing over a 150 with 2 Sony Xplod's on a sony 760 amp on a AC from about 7 years ago tho.

(Turbo Trav - Later this year I'll be running (hopefully) two crunch GP3Kd Pro's at .5ohm each daily.. That'll put me over that 5-6K wattage mark :D )
