ZZP or 3800 Performance Package ?

I was lookin at both performance packages on ZZP and 3800performance. What's better for the buck ? I know 3800 is cheaper but doesnt come with the downpipe. I can always buy that seperate.
 


How reliable are the people who sell used parts on this site? I need headers, 3" DP. pcm 1.0 , 3.4 Pulley kit, CAI . Other things, if anyone has something that they're selling just post here and ill buy.
 
Just some words of wisdom..... use paypal if you're going to buy anything used and don't select it as a personal gift (to avoid the 3% fees). You cannot dispute the transaction if something happens when you select that method. I've had 3 or 4 transactions buying/selling used stuff and have no complaints. You'll see more classifieds traffic over on clubgp, you may want to check there as well.
 
I've bought on this site and other gp sites and never once got anything other than what I wanted. i even bought something from minichopper and he gave the money back when he could get the product to work. Most people on here are reputable.
 
Ive had decnt luck buying stuff new and used on here lots of good folks on here

as for the packages stay away from them headers look at ssac's or speed daddy
tunes are all around the same price
go open cone its cheap''
search all the gp/gtp sites for a used dp/plog if not going with headers
colder plugs and tstat are cheap
do all that and you will be ready for a pulley drop

headers 300-450$ used (come w/ dp)

tune- get it tuned by someone..... can'd tunes (pre tuned pcm's) just bring more problems esp. if your dropping pulleys

3.4 mps- 75$ with hub

Intake- run an open cone or SRI and DIY save money, everything else is stupid or a waste of money or time.

Dont drop a pulley on a pcm and headers just get a tune.

and finally buy a case w/ the money you saved and sit back and enjoy your success.
 
headers = SSAC's for 350 to your door

and those packages WILL destroy your engine.

F*ck even SSAC's are expensive now with the Speed Daddy EBay headers getting shipped as the right product.

$220 shipped.

As for dropping a pulley size on a PCM? What? The canned tunes are programmed for basic 3.4" setups...not sure where you got that info.

What he's trying to say is that a canned tune is just that, its canned. One basic tune to fit everyones needs. Well as you know on these engines just because my engine can drop to a 3.4" pulley with the same mods doesn't mean yours can as well. Basicly a canned tune will work but it will be far from ideal. Many people here run them so its not like your going to **** up anything by doing it. Get an Aeroforce gauge so you can monitor kr and thats going to be your best mod.

not saying its not doable, every car's different and you will get alot more from a street tune then a canned tune. i know people who have chipped pistons with 3.4's and a canned tune thats why im saying this.
 
Cool thanks for the help , saving money in any way is good in my book. I just need some more power. If anyone on hear is selling headers and a downpipe in good shape let me know.
 
you don't need headers and a downpipe. headers replace the part you would be replacing with a downpipe. if you get a plog, then you need a downpipe
