maybe thats a small 97-03 issue cause my 06, I just jabbed it with a screwdriver and stretched it, took 20 secs.

passenger or driver side? i haven't looked yet but in the next couple weeks i'll be doing one

I had to pull the block in the center of the grommet out with pliers, then poke a hole through the rubber boot underneath. Kind of tricky.

ya i did that yesterday, hard but im glad i did it, now my wiring is all hidden
