Need paint code (front bumper, the gray color)

Doe's anyone know what the color is for the lower intake on the front bumper (the gray color)? Also, mine got scratched up pretty good (it was that way when I bought it) from someone hitting a parking block. Can I just sand the scratches and repaint the gray color? Thank's for any advice you can give me on this...

you shouldnt worry about it and get it painted a different color you like. i painted mine black, looks much better than the grey

Check your SPI sticker on the inner side of your trunk lid, then take the thing to a store that deals with paint. One of those will be the lower paint colour for your car.

I checked the paint code. It's U518f, indicating it's an upper color in Medium gulf blue metallic. But no mention of a lower color. The car is stock that's why I want to keep the gray in the bumper the original color. It's a 98 GP Daytona...

I should have said in the original post that the car is a stock 98 GP Daytona, that's why I want to keep the original gray or something close to it. Any recommendations on an off the shelf gray color that would work?...

when i painted mine i used krylon fusion paint and krylon fusion clearcoat, but i sanded before and its held up great so far

Sound's good. I might go this route. Where can you buy Krylon Fusion at? I don't remember seeing it anywhere. Thank's for your help....

advance auto parts, they were like 5ish bucks a can and 1 can can do like 4 bumpers
Update: I ended up taking the car to Abra autobody to have some dings taken out had them fix a couple of scrapes in the plastic body parts and they repainted the gray on the front bumper intake. Looks like new now. Thank's again for eveyone's ideas on this....
