yea I have no budget for it but I mean i have around 2k in savings but im also not working

I should just buy it and find a buyer and build it to order
I emailed the guy now ill have to break my old lady off proper so she will say ok to me dipping into our savings

Then i can find a buyer and build it to his specs performance or what not tell them 5 grand anything they want

Although "engine" is the better term, motor is acceptable for a car engine. You cannot, however, properly refer to an electrical motor as an engine. Motor basically boils down to "imparting motion" which an engine does; think of "motor skills" for example. If you want to argue car nomenclature, please put more pressure on folks to call "rims" by their proper term, "wheels". :th_thumbsup-wink:

As for the car, if you are confident in your ability to swap an engine, and get a solid vibe that the seller is not tossing you a second bum engine, it could be a decent deal if you have the time and energy to spare.
 
alot of people toast an engine and buy a replacement and then cant put it in bvy them selves is all i think it is

Ive had my engine out all the way apart and in im capable of doing it no problem Im waiting to hear back from him and see some pics

If it doess happen ill pull the pan and every thing down to the heads on both engines and use the better parts and reseal every thing

part of me thought it would be fun to gut the car of every thing but a drivers seat im talking carpet stereo seats trim spare jack speakers every thing i could do to lighten it up and do a crazy 3.4 rockered n20/meth build just using what i could find in the sale section on here

But then again my old lady would kill me
 


if all it needs is the new motor that comes with the car then its a fantastic price and you could definitely make money off it.
