Cant turn off car right away...

I have the oddest problem... once I ut the car in park I have to wait like thirty seconds before I can click the key all the way back to take it out. If I try right after putting it in park it only goes back once. My girlfriends GTP does the same thing.
Anyone know what causes this and how I can fix it?

Take the park lock solenoid out. It is buy the ignition switch.

Pull off the cover under the steering wheel...the column. It is a white solinoid. Rip it out.

its a small socket to get the plastic cover off.

Just rip it out? And then what? Put it back in or leave it out? My brother's car had this problem forever.. actually the key just slides out so it's fine (you can take the key out while driving by just pulling it out lmao)

His is stuck on ACC I think?

Just take it out. You will be able to take the key out in any gear after you do. So dont be stupid and you will be fine.
