• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Okay, lets learn a little about each other. Post up what you do for a living. Just what you do, maybe a little info on that but no salaries and all that stuff.

I'll start.
I am a Senior Repair Technician for Verizon (Not Wireless thank you very much). Basically I work on thinks like credit card lines, ATM lines (so if you cant ever get money out of the ATM or run your credit card, I might be to blame). I also work on National Weather Service stuff, FAA and Railroad lines. I used to work with the routers, channel units and other networking gear, but I do my work remotely now and send people out if needed.

I work for quiktrip. I am a facility tech. I do electrical, hvac, plumbing, carpentry, welding, computers, gas pumps and all the other fun stuff we have in the store.

Well everyone who knows me knows that the GP is my car, but hubbie mods it-we are a team:p

I am an elementary teacher-5th grade to be specific; and my husband Aaron is a Volkswagon/Subaru technician at a local dealership :)

I work for a company called arcplan. We develop web based Business Intelligence software (data input, reporting, etc) for lots of companies across the US and parts of Europe.

I work at IKON office solutions, an outsourcing company, I am currently stationed at Prudential Financial for the last 2 years working as a senior on site supervisor for mainframe printing. That's what my title is called but it's a little dramatic. I'm 21 and also going to college fulltime. Since I don't do anything at my job, I spend most of the time on forums like this.

You guys were busy through the ice storm, huh?

I'm a graphic designer at a small publishing company here in Tulsa that puts out several local magazines. Been doing that for a looooong time (though only about 1.5 years at this place). Also, I work here on the site.

I'm a dispatcher for a CAT forklift company in North Brunswick, NJ. Been working here for just about 4 years now, servicing central and northern NJ as well as lower NY state. I'm responsible for a fleet of road techs who repair forklifts on-site at our customers warehouses/facilities.

I'm a Sourcing Analyst for H&R Block. Basically - I spend HRB's money and buy stuff - negotiate contracts/pricing and work to get the best deals that can be had.

It pays the bills.

I also do home inspections on the side, as well as other DIY home repair/remodeling.

How'd you go from bloody haunted house worker to H&R Block?!

I am the extrusions purchasing manager, and the export sales manager (strange combination of job responsibilities, I know) for an aluminum building products company.......masoncorp.com is our website. I've been there for 8 years. My wife is a loan processor for a mortage broker.

Yeah, Ive thought about it. I used to live in Tulsa, maybe a mile from the QT headquarters but when I got married I moved 50+ miles north.
