05 GTP running rough (sometimes)

I have an 05 GTP with 100,000 on the clock. This thing has had this problem for a while now and I am at wits end trying to figure it out.
It doesnt happen all the time but when it does the engine will be sluggish run rough and seems like the tranny isnt shifting right. If you stop turn it off and restart 99% of the time it resets and will run like a scalded dog.
I havent done anything to but change plug wires clean the MAF sensor and pulled the throttle body and clean it. Every thing is stock. The engine was doing this long before I did this maintnance. I am leaning toward something electronic. It has never thrown a code and passes emissions every time. Any sugestions?

Might need the throttle body cleaned...yank that thing off and see...if there is a lot of build up...use some brake clean to get it out and then re-install...might be surprised.

Been there. Pulled it off and gave it a good cleaning with Throttle body cleaner. Looked like brand new. Made some difference in the preformance but not in the issue at hand. The problem doesnt happen all the time. Probably one out of 10 starts maybe

No one knows but its believed to be electronic, something in the PCM perhaps. About a year ago it seemed like there was a thread a month about it, moreso on the other forum though. I'm not saying thats what it is but when you said that turning the car off and then back on again cures the problem was the only fix to what im implying about.

Believe it or not I found out what the problem was after all this time. The Battery that was in it was dying. Put a new battery in it and now hasnt done it since. Has been 2 months now. So the old battery may have been bad from the get go and some how effecting the comp. Go figure.
