Dash Z Projector Headlight Review by Nawarkk

I have to agree that these capsules are definitely a different taste than the spyder capsules. To each is his own.

It does seem to me that these headlights share the two problems the spyders had/have:

1 - Bouncing

2 - Brittle,****ty plastic mounting tabs.

Well what I thought would happen.. happened.

So I kept taking the headlights off and on to adjust the beam. Well the bolts I guess wore out the thread on the projectors or something so they don't tighten. They just get slightly hard and then loose again.. Well I thought this was fine until I noticed them bounce more then they did before... Can't tell on the ground but definitely on the backs of cars and signs. Might just get some weather stripping and put them under the lights and connect them to the bumper..

I've taken them on and off maybe 5 times.. kinda ****ty but whatever, just gotta fix it now.

Use them because they didn't bounce at first, I guess just be careful when you take the bolts on and off.

Yea the LED strip is a hit an miss sometimes. But they would be nothing special without them I guess.. You can just not wire them if you want. They come on separate wires from the Halo's. You can also pull them out of the headlight and probably change them out for any color... ohhh I might do red since I have a dark red... hmm this is gonna be interesting.

Check local laws before putting RED lights on the FRONT of your car. Most states don't like that much b/c only emergency personnel are allowed red and blue from the front. :th_shakinghead2:

More like "Be carefull driving down dirt roads full of nasty pot holes, & I'm sorry if you live on one." :th_laugh-lol3:

Cuz I do. Thats how the lights I have now broke. (Overtightening helped):th_jester:

Yea... MI has a ton of potholes... and for some reason, I can't over tighten now. It'll get semi-tight and then loose again and then semi-tight and then loose. I bought some weatherstripping to put under the headlights. Possibly on my shakey fog lights too.

The bolt holes are stripped. Is the plastic threaded or do they use the metal clips?? If the metal clips you can always go to car quest and grab a few of them and replace them.

But...........I knew this was going to happen. Not necessarily the stripping out but the bouncing.
