3.5 pulley with stock pcm and K&N CAI

I was just wondering if i could run a 3.5 inch pulley on my car
the only mods i have are a K&N CAI and a ubend delete. (stock PCM) I know that all cars are different but i just wanted to see if people who are running the same mods are having any knock problems. Really what its coming down to is im looking for some more HP but im not so sure about changing out my pcm. another quick question- is there anyway you can tune a stock pcm? what does a hypertec tune do?
thanks for all your help

Get some exhaust mods done first. 3" downpipe, plog, or headers. Then a tune, then you can think about pulley dropping.

nobody can really tell you exactly what its going to do. get a scanner and SCAN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that way you KNOW!!!!!!!

really tho, your running more air into the motor (intake) then your adding 3 more pounds of boost (3.5) and the only thing you have to help get it out of the motor is a u bend. you really need headers or atleast a down pipe.

go get the thing scaned

3.2? id do a 2.8, nothin but power. lol

Most definitely. I'm running a 3.0 with stock exhaust...seems kinda sluggish for the bewst im putting out.

Read the link posted, and regardless of what pulley you'll definitely want the benefits of a good tune. Don't be afraid, PCM's are easy to get a hold of.
:th_thumbsup-wink:

buy an aeroforce scan gauge for $225 aprox. then u know ur kr and that should answer any questions regarding pullies.

^^^^i feel ur pain, still got kr on headers and 3,5 will loads of mods....yes get a gauge to scan with....
