Good try, but apparently you have never heard of the driver mod. There is one here in KC with custom exhaust, cold air, short shifter...and a tune.

Ran a 13.7...so low 14's is very possible stock. Why not?

Yup, with those conditions...he would have ran a 13.5 or lower probably. Damn, what is with all these new guys recently? forealz :th_shakinghead2:

Cheaper car = more "green" new guys and since we actually ban trolls, they find it a better challenge.
 
The reason I said this is because there is a guy on the 4th gen forums that did run a 14 flat stock there is a video if you wanna see it.
 
There's a bunch of them on youtube...I'd like to see one run BONE stock with slicks...I'd bet it would pull a mid 13
 


With a good driver I would def. put it in the mid 13's. I also watched one of these things on the dyno and I was pretty impressed at what they put down to the wheels
 
^what did it put down...i've never seen one up close, i'd like to see the insides...for $$$ i'm going gto, or back to a foxbody. gtp for the DD
 
so...20 more horse...no blower, a 6spd, and 400 lbs difference...we run mid to high 14's stock in GTP's...I don't see the big deal of a low 14 stock.

247.9 HP / 247.9 Lbs of torque well I didn't see it personally, on youtube, but even though these cars look like they are made for chicks in high school they still have a set of nuts on them. There is also a video of one racing a impala ss 5.3 on youtube on a roll they are dead even.

x2, those are good runs

and for the new evo's, i think they're harder to rice honestly. not many cars with a roundish body nowadays, it'll be harder to find a body kit
