How do I hookup up 4channel amp to speakers and hu?

Trying to hookup alpine mrp300 to speakers just bought 2 front alpine type x spx-17ref component speakers. How do I run the aftermarket harness? Do I connect any speaker wires or should I just run RCA cables from hu to amp then speaker wires from amp to speakers?

I would do the rca's from the deck to the amp and then run your own speaker wires from the amp to the speakers. Then if you want you can still put your stock speakers instead of chopping everything up.

Sounds good so the original wiring should be capped off? And as for the wire harness PAC c2r-gm24, does anyone know what all the wire colors represent? And am I suppose to connect the RCA cables from the harness somewhere or do I just cap those off as well? Thanks got lots of questions lol

That was the wrong part number and for some reason that site doesn't work for me I can access it if you give me link I can't browse the website for my product pretty ****ty.even with that harness there are no color codes

Just to be sure you're talking about the front, no there is no air bag there. that's what the steering wheel is for :P

Yea lol the front one... Do u know if it's a pain in the ass to change the rear speakers also?

horribly... at least on the 04+. same style as a 07 g6 gt that i was gonna do for a friend but you have to remove the whole rear deck, which means removing the rear pillars which cover air bags. no go for me, he took it to best buy :th_shakinghead2:

I don't think there's airbags in the last pillars only in the roof as the manual states. Does anyone have any thoughts on dynamat?

You can A) save yourself some money and think about why you needed to use the dynamat in the first place then avoid all those situations or you can B) dynamat the crap outta everything and brag about it later.

lmao im not doing it to brag retard, I just want to lessen the rattles from the outside. And if im going to be ripping everything out, I'm wondering how good of a job dynamat does in a vehicle such as a 2005 grand prix, i know it adds mass and doesnt absorb vibrations but im still wondering if anyone has used it before and what they think about it.

Im just asking for an intelligent response from someone who has used it on their grand prix to see if it was worth for them and what they think of it. I called you a retard because apparently you think having dynamat is just for the sake of saying u have it ha. Which is not the answer i was looking for, like i said I want to know from someone who has used it in their GP if its a noticeable difference.
