Allright i was set on buying Pacesetters but then herd about SSAC headers and was woundering SSAC headers are cheaper but are they better? and I know that with pacesetters u need to weld them if you dont want them to leak but do u need to do the same with SSAC headers or do they seal just fine? And I also herd that SSAC headers flex pipe has an annoying tick but is that causing any problems? And one last thing can SSAC headers bolt right to the stock converter? Any answers would be helpful

No headers bolt to the stock converter. They will bolt to the resonator. I have ssac headers they seal fine with some good band clamps. I have not really noticed a tick with mine. You can just get a flex from zzp and have it welded in if you want.

Also just search headers and you will find 1000 posts on them just read threw them and learn all there is to know.

i got my pacesetters to seal without welding :th_thumb-up:

Im not a fan of the ssac's because of the stupid u-bend in the d/p section, it looks like a trap for a sink drain.

I dont really have a problem with it. It is 3" so I think it will flow plenty for any supercharged setup most will do.

what is your budget ????and great idea going striaght to headers, i went the other route and then finally got headers.

the ssac's now come with bandclamps, new bolts for the res. and also all the bandclamps you need. i used my own clamps and gaskets though. the gaskets they come with are cheap and basically fall apart while you handle them.
