• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

yeah i already planned to make my own. i probably even have all the parts to do it in my garage. what am i blowing up?

remember i think the computer is inside the air box (great idea?) remove **** from tb down to the air box.....wait what yr u got??? if u have a 98 like me, you;ll need to go to the junk yard and get a w-body coolant recovery bottle and mount in 2000 or so, up location. just behind fuse panel. tight fit but thats where it is. there is a sticky on it somewhere and in the zzp mainpage, they have technical articles(very good reading) and tell u how. ....or u can run an open cone straight from the tb. just remember to mount the air temp. sensor inline with airflow.

yeah i know all about that after reading the fwi how to. i just need to figure out how to get the old intake off, there has to be a trick that doesnt involve killing my hands or breaking sensors with my BFSD (big effin screw driver).

Unclip the sensor on the intake pipe near the TB. Save it, you might need it. Unclip the section which clips on, then pull that off the TB. Undo the two bolts on the box then pull off the section thats closest to the TB then pull up on the rest of the plastic box once you have the PCM out of the way.

You could of course leave the plastic tray if you wanted to granted your new intake doesnt get in the way.
