Anyone have the LG Rumour phone?

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a good Christmas. My GF and I were out boxing day and picked up the LG Rumour cell phones since they were a good deal. I have found alot of bad reviews online. We havew not activated the phones yet so they could still be returned. Wondering if anyone here owns one or has owned one and has any input. Thanks!

lol, i'm sorry, i had Alltels version of the rumor and it was the biggest POS i've ever had. I LOVE LG phones to and had nothing but problems with it. I went through 3 of them within 6 months due to random shut offs, on 1 the screen totally died. The keypads work...half the time. They are very slow if you use your browser at all and your camera may also just randomly stop working, or when you try to take a picture it will restart the phone. Thats my experience with 3 of them. WORST LG i've ever owned hands down.

Thanks for the input, thats pretty much what I have been finding out from reviews online. Pretty sure mine is going back. My Gf is really dissapointed and seems to want to give hersa try anyway but I don't want the hastle since there is really nothing wrong with my current phone.
 


My old lady has one and she seems to love it. I know that the previous generation rumors had issues with the hinges...
 
could also be the alltel software, just my personal issues and it was total crap for me Every issue it had was basically a software problem. I never had any issues with it sliding or sound or anything
 
Thanks for the info from everyone. I am still leery about activating mine but my Gf is going to give it a shot so hopefully it goes well.
 
I had the rumor. Was a great phone. Upgraded to the rumor2 and its even better, love the phone, love the set up, and love how its unbreakable, well almost :)
 
Have one of these too, seems to be working well almost a year of having it. Ive seen many LGs get bad screens but noone ive talked to ever had that problem with this model so i gave it a try.
Its also one of the most scratch resistant ive owned, keep it in my pocket all the time with change sometimes and still looks like new.
 


i don't have the rumor, i have the LG Vu and dear god i hate this phone. within a month the screen bubbled up so it miss-reads my touch, when i'm on the internet it randomly restarts, sometimes it thinks the sim card isn't in, my signal shows a maximum of 2 bars at any time (typically none) and that's in places where i know i should get full signal. After this i will probably never buy another LG phone. This damn thing has to last me through June. Seriously doubt i'm gonna make it, and once this thing goes i've got no phone.
 
My mom has one and absolutely hates it. Like to the point where she keeps considering switching back to her juke lol. I just got the droid, it's amazing. It's better than the iphone IMO.
