Whats this noise? (Video)

Yeah I know this is a Grand Prix forum and all but I figured I'd post this here as well and increase my chances of somebody knowing what the hell this is.

Here's my copied and pasted post from the Land Rover forum.

Well, a few days ago my 00' Land Rover Disco started making a random squeaking noise and I have yet to figure out what it is. I first thought maybe it was just something in the brakes since there was a little mud on them, took the calipers, rotors, pads, and everything off. Cleaned it all up good and yet the noise is still there.

Any ideas?

You check all your rubber boots? I four wheel a lot and when going through a lot of stuff they tend to get ripped in odd places and dry out parts and produce some squeeks inside of what they are protecting...

I gave everything a quick look over but I did'nt focus on just that. I'm definitely going to go back and look at everything once again a bit closer and see what I can find.

Right now I'm thinking about the possibilities of it being the u-joints.

sounds like you got a canary stuck in there. Sounds like it changes with vehicle speed so it's either drive shaft or wheel related.

Damn he beat me to it!!! :p

I doubt its a fan belt. Maybe something in the axel? Or can you hear it on both sides of the Rover? If its only coming from one side, good money is on the axel or something part of the drivetrain over there.

And does it make that sound when parked? Just curious.
