Since you're only 17, he wouldn't be able to open any accounts in your name unless there was a parent with him. I work at a bank and get free access to credit reports tho :th_mischievious:

Nope. I opened one on my own when I was 16.

Thanks for all the input guys! It's gotten to the point where my mom and stepdad have to get their SSNs changed and my mom possibly her name.

go to the bank where you opened your checking acct at, they should be able to do it. or atleast tell you how.
