took my GTP to the 1/8 mile..1st time

i was in a huge rush to get there after work before the track closed so i drove almost 2 hours and got right in line to race, i knew my car was really hot and i DID bring ice but didnt have time, no track prep ( tire pressure same, 93 octane) and i couldnt avoid the damn water box which pissed me off and i went 9.3 @ 77 w/ 2.2 60fts consistently...so how ****ty is this and could it have been ALOT better if my car cooled down and adjusted tire pressure etc? tires were at 35 psi all around thanks guys!!

The best I did in the 1/8th with Track prep was as follows :

1/8th 8.958
60': 1.901

I had a stock pulley, 180*, dp (no cat) and 1.9 Rockers/Springs with a box zzp tune. Oh and some Nitto 555 DR's.

I wouldnt be too hard on yourself :)
 
dam howd you manage a 60 ft like that with 20's from a yukon? good **** man..idk ill learn to launch better and have more mods after iraq but i guess the most import. thing is i had fun
