Doors dont lock when going into park??

Anyone know why my doors do not lock when I shift into drive. Also they will not unlock when I shift to park or turn the car off. If anyone could help it would be great.. Car is a 2000 GTP with a freshly rebuilt trans
 


Like mentioned above, You need to check the owners manual. There is a section that tells you how to set different ways for the car to behave when you shift to park/ out of park etc. It has to do with putting the car into the ACC mode and then pushing the lock button. I don't remember 100% but if you can't find it in your manual I can look for you later.
 


Ah that makes sense, and try turning off your radio and looking for the settings, you night have to have car on aux and then hold in the tune button or other ones until something pops up.
 
I think all of your settings are in the radio. YOu have to have the car on aux. THen press in the tune button *if you can idk, i have a different car lol* and then mabye youll get to the settings.

I did the steps in the above post about pulling the fuse and setting the door locks with the powerlock button but it still does not work. Same time this all happened with the doors not locking from park I lost my power trunk release also.
