ok...this may sound really dumb to a lot of you but i'm just really confused about the headlights/fogs. i just got the car soo yeah. its a 2006

is there any way to just have the amber part of the fog come on? whenever i turn the thingy to turn on the fogs both the amber and regular light come on and i dont like the look of that. also the interior dash lights come on!? even during the day.

i really want to switch to HIDs but i have nooooo idea how to install them and when it comes to the fogs...won't you have the HID and an amber turn signal???

please help!
 


That's your parking lamps man. Anytime you turn on the fogs they come on. You could run a new foglight harness so that only the fogs would come on but you'd need an aftermarket switch, it's really all more of a PITA than it's worth. Just put HID's in the fogs and be done with it.
 
i get what ur saying reddawngxp...but as u said before, the HIDs go in the parking lamps...if i have HIDs wouldnt the bottom half (turn signal) blink amber? wouldnt that look weird having HIDs and amber?

Well, as of now don't you have the stock halogen 898 fogs with the amber turn signal? Honestly, it won't look bad, plus you want the turn signal to stand out from the fog so it can be seen by other drivers...that whole safety thing, you know?
