Post your ricer pics

Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RS.

Look into that car before you diss it. :th_biggrin2:

As for american cars being rice... What about the cobalt and the Saturn Ion? They can CLEARLY be riced out to the point where they can be called rice. Sunfires and Cavaliers can be done the same way.

I once saw the worst Cavalier ever... Every single rice thing you could do to it and to top it all off... the motor was 100% stock.:th_shakinghead1:

Ummm the GT3 is a track built porsche. The seats might even be stock. It's not a daily driver... Roll cage is stock...

It's street legal, that's what makes it a great car, nothing ricey here. I would love to drive it on some twisties and not only at the track.

If the car in your picture here is a Monte SS, then you'd find it'd handle a LOT better, but not have as much mid range torque. The 3.8 six in the RS has a redline near 10 K, as in, no torque below 4 K.

Lol, yeah a LOT is right. The SS has crate 350 and bunch of other stuff... But there are so many other factors that make a car fast and responsive from a dead stop or around a track. My e90 with 215 hp will do circles around the monte on a track... The porsche would do well in any scenario and probably smoke my SS if it had comparable power in the quarter. John B's LS7 monte is doing 11.5 in the quarter and has more power while porsche is in the 12s with less. No midrange doesn't mean the car is bad or can't compete.

Oh for performance torque doesnt mean a thing. Its all about power. But for fun, torque is what I find to be the most enjoyable.

Good job, you just lost all credibility, dumb ass.

There's two ways to make power, incredibly high RPM with a small amount of torque, or large amounts of torque at a lower RPM.

Torque - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Read that formula and tell me that you can't make up for the lowering of one component with another. They're both required to make power so you can compensate for a lack of one with the other.

Tell me how I've lost all credibility if all I'm doing is quoting one of the definitions of power.

Go get your first year college physics textbook and derive it yourself then.

Rofl, wow really? Thanks for proving my point. Moron.

Taking my word as an absolute? Do you think F1 engines are torque monsters with a red line of 18 000 RPM and peak HP around 800? That would mean at 18K RPM (Assuming 800 HP) they're generating 233 lb-ft of torque. a GTP can make more torque.

Whats faster? I'm sure its the GTP with more torque.:th_yawning:

HP is a figurative number based off of Torque. You can have ALOT of HP but without torque its kinda pointless...and IMO boring :)

lol @ all those pics, if i were smart enough to know how to take a pic and put it on the computer i could post some up of the ppls at work lol

:th_laugh-pointup:wahahaahahaahhaaaaaahahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!:th_laugh-pointup:
wtf kinda" cars" are those...lol

Seriously that person needs to take another 60 gallons of bondo and work on moving the gas tank to the front so it actually rides level to the ground. i stared at this car (or something that resembles one) for like ten min. trying to figure out what it is...... im amazed. wow......id really laugh if it still had the civic headlights in it tho.

(talking about the vette look a like ish)(couldnt figureout how to include the pic in the quote
