Or, we could just start an AIM chat, and people could log in and out as they please, but the thread with the chat name would need to be in an area where only members with so many posts can see it (don't want people signing up, posting up once, and being able to spam us in a chat). It doesn't have to be a lot of posts, if the mods think that's a good idea.

how about a sticky thread where you can submit your aim , yahoo or msn and anyone can reach you, if they become a problem or whatever trouble it may cause then you just block the person? I for one don't use any of those, but whomever wants to talk to me has my cell! LOL (if you dont have it and want it, pm me, I might give it to you!)

I like this idea Curtis, and the beauty is that its already in place. there are icons under your user name and has your MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, and even Skype name......its in your user CP.....

If you want to open a chat room there, you can do so, and invite who you want.

would it be possible to have a post somewhere that is seen by members only that poeple could list chats up in?

That might be a possibility......maybe something for members that have X amount of posts.....let me talk to the other admins and see what we can do. We may be able to tie in the Gammer area as well.....something like a members only area.
