You are best off saving your money and get the real dual tips instead of those. There are or were some ebay for $100 bucks. I will try and look it up for ya :)
 
Do you get anything out of spending the money on just tips? I know its just $50 but why not save your money for REAL exhaust? What would you say to someone who actually has questions about your exhaust?

"Oh nice exhaust man! That looks sweet! How much did that run you?"

"Thanks, uhh, $50? I just put tips on it..."

I would have to agree with you Stroker, he already has Thrasher mufflers, not the worlds best by any means, but better than stock. I know SLP still has their kits available for our cars and they run roughly $500 to 600 with shipping think.

Or he can just check the boards for anyone selling a complete catback system. But i think you will find he is gonna nickle and dime it ;) :th_nanana:

I understand the whole "cool" factor by putting tips on your ride, but exhaust is what gives the the long term gain. Save your money and go with the cat-back system like Geddy said.
 


50 bucks compared to 450.. at the least... hell im with you joe haha and imo these things dont get much better as far as sound goes beyond the stock system... but hey thats just me haha
 
$600 for the catback, no hp gains, just different sound, and comes with tips

$50 for the tips, no hp gains, just looks

I would agree, the only ones I have seen that have pulled it off is Jason Farsnworth on his GTP, his tips are not easy to come by, but they pull off the single look very well :)

The GTX tips are sweet, but SLP is practically out of them, they are only selling scratch and dent ones if any at all. :( I wish they did not give up on the GPs so soon :( ie the SLP Stage kits for our cars.

I got the whole catback system from a local member who got a G8 GXP. I swapped him my SLP's and $200 for his complete Borla Catback System. It had to be the best investment I ever made! Droan is almost nonexistant.....

And the reason there is no droan............check this bazooka of a res out that Borla makes :th_biggrin2:
