Rear View mirror tab

Hey fellas/gals--

a few quick questions, looking for input--

If i remember correctly, in order to remove the rearview mirror from the GP's one just needs to pry up the tension clip that goes on the mount tab, right?


second, anyone have any idea if the screw clamp style of mirror will fit the stock window tab?


i'm sure i'll find this all out when i tear into it, but looking for as much info as possible ahead of time

my 05 mirror has a screw you have to release to pull the mirror off if that helps any.

really? my 97 and 99 dont have a screw, just a pressure clip (kinda similar to the kind of clip that holds on ends of some types of hood/trunk struts)

I have the one from my bravada in my '97 and it's a screw type ('94 bravada) fit fine

figured it should.

did you pry at the top of the clip to remove or ?

i dont remember how these come off

I think I just pushed it, it's been 2 years now (my auto dim one leaked all over the console)
