Im now have the money and am seriously thinking about getting a PCM for my 2000 gp gt. I just looking for a legit PCM for about $350 and i thought it would help if i knew the most common one that worked.... thanks

Well you're in luck because they are only $100.
I like mine from 3800performance, but they have yet to refund me for my core return they got on 9/15 and have ignored my emails. So I'm not too happy they are going all TDC racing on me and therefore going to hold off on recommending them to you.
Use the extra cash and get a P-log, it is going to be my next mod. I think you should do the plog before a downpipe because the plog helps protect your first row of pistons. But you have a u bend and I don't so you have to think about that.

Get either an Overkill Tune or an old school DHP 1.0. Those are without a doubt the best canned tunes you can get. Overkill does a good job with his tunes. I'm currently running his tune on my black GTP. I used to run a DHP 1.0 in my white GTP years ago, now I have a completely custom tune.

I was happy with my Intense PCM I had for about 6 months. It worked great with my 3.4, P-Log, and DP setup.

If you have 350.00 to spend get a set of headers and find someone to give you a custom tune. :th_thumb-up:

It would be $100 to license the vin. He might all ready have the vin unlocked so then it might be a case of beer.

This sounds like the best idea iv heard on this forum and id definently be willing to do it. What are u thinking of??

I do not know, really. I have not played with tuning N/A, but I am sure it is easier than what I have been doing. Get me in touch with anybody that actually tunes the N/A and come up with the $100 for unlocking your VIN; I can sort out the rest for you.

you can run a bunch more timing on a GT, but realistically the concept is the same. you can run it leaner too. actually, the leaner the better without knocking.

You can tune for regular gas, or a higher octane. It's up to you. You'll be able to squeeze a little more power out of the higher octane, though.
