ew^ but today....oh boy. Kid pulls up to blue marsh with a slammed jetta. Looked ugly as **** all primered on differnt parts of the car but the worst was his exhaust or lack of...it sounded like a 700ft tall monster with diahrrea. It's was sooooo bad
 


my car isnt lookin too hot these days as im mid rust repair, so im driving the primer Beast.. but at least im not pretending its cool like the jetta...lol
 
id hate to live on that guy's street, toxic fumes all over and a dumbass who cant drive his car, lol

I did not rice my 98 Z24, but it was modded. Stock 150 HP, was more then a Civic and way more low end torque then a Civic. I always thought, start with the most HP you can and build upwards. Plus I would not buy a Civic anyway!
 


2.4 twin cam vs. 2.2 sohc

There is a big difference, trust me. You cant even get the 2.2 auto to squeal the tires when its raining, turning, and gravel on the road. The 2.4 does some nice burnouts, and with a 5 speed, im sure it would be better. The 2.4 still sucks as it was demodded for emissions and its less powerful (150hp) vs. the older 2.3 Quad4 (180hp) or the H.O. version (200hp). If i were to do something to the cavi, would be a 2.3 H.O. swap and turbo. The only difference in the H.O. versus the normal was they had more aggressive cams in it. If you look at some people that have turboed the 2.3's you will see some good numbers.

and for the older ones it is a 2.0 or 2.2 4 cylinder 100hp or less on the non z and a 2.8 or 3.1 v6 in the z24s around 160hp
 


I've actually seen a few cars out there pretty riced up that were actually modded to an ungodly level. Saw a Civic with some Chameleon paint and a kit that had turbo, and there was about $30,000 in receipts with the car. Out of $30,000, how much do you think he spent on paint and a kit? Either way I'm sure it was pretty quick, never got to drive it.

agreed with the body kit. the rims aren't horrible and i love lambo doors. the graphics look stupid too. people forget that the cavalier is a small car, keep it that way, don't try to make it look bigger
 
it makes me sad, i saw a douche driving the EXACT same car as me ( green 99GP SE) with a bloody GIANT chrome fart can and he would just hit the gas, then let off and coast and do it again over and over, to make it sould like he was switching gears..

Terrible. I'm not sure what pisses me off more, seeing a riced out GP, or seeing an 80 year old woman going 10 under in a GTP.
 
There is a caviler by me that just has a glass pack at the end in place of a fart can. I gues the fart can was out of his price range. It is pretty funny too look at, it also sounds horrible.
 
Ppl in the auto industry spend lots of man hours to design & shape cars to look the way they do. Only to have kids f*** up all their hard work by ricing it out or plain Uggin' it up. They should ALL be left unmole$ted. I say show some respect to the ppl who designed your car and leave it be.
 
^ true but at the same time there is also the personalization aspect its just that some people take that aspect too far aka creating an ugly riced out pos. take your car for example u did change your car too u put rims a spoiler a hood diff exhaust grills some vinyls an idk what else thats just the things i noticed right off. In a way you are really no diff its just that you made your car look nice not rice but its the same thing you too changed the look of your vehicle. Im not at all dissing your car cause i actually like it a lot im just simply making a comparison.
