What happened to TDC Racing???

If we don't all get our money back, we could all get together and file a joint suit against him. With paypal he can just keep hiding behind his computer screen, theres no running from a lawsuit.

Is the money actually there or is it still pending? Mine still shows pending.

It is weird that I got an email from paypal saying the dispute is closed but when I log into paypal it still shows the dispute open and that it is currently being reviewed by paypal. I don't know what is happening. As long as the money is all returned I'll be happy though.

Be VERY careful. I've gotten fraudulant emails that were supposedly from paypla before from an ebay seller that scammed me. They look completley legit. Email paypal and referance the email you recieved if you think something is up.
 
Read your case history, mine actually shows that parker refunded mine.... this is strange. Why is he refunding us but not telling us wtf is up?!?!?!:th_scratchhead: I am so confuzzed...

I know, but if he has the time to agree to refunds and the such, why doesn't he just come on here and tell us what the heck is goin on?

I don't know, this doesn't make sense to me eaither. If he wanted to close up shop, and he was going to issue refunds anyway, why didn't he just post a goodbye thread or something.

Yeah there is no way that I'm going to be the one to close the dispute. Once you close it, that is it. Can't open another dispute on that transaction and you're screwed. I'm just going to wait until (hopefully) that full amount of money is in my account and not pending anymore.

I am confused but the only thing that seems to make sense to me is that he was going to scam everyone, but once he saw the backlash and what he was facing, he decided to tell everyone that he would refund their money instead of going to prison for a couple of years. This is the only way this makes sense to me. As already stated, if it was a simple misunderstanding, an emergency, or any semi-legitimate reason such as closing up shop, why not just post a quick note to let everyone know what is going on....it wouldnt take long. Heck, this is someone that encouraged communication above all else in the past. I have no reason to dislike Parker personally, as I got what I paid for in the past. I just dont want anyone to get screwed over. It just looks like now he has changed his mind on scamming everyone, and now has just decided to pay everyone back. But why still no explanation for any of this? WTF?

He isn't doing the *right* thing by refunding, he is saving his ass from legal repercussions, which would be much worse than a 25 page hate thread.

I haven't gotten a refund yet.

Yea he saw all the info we dug up and then he saw the local police department numbers and heard people were getting ready to call the police Plus paypal will go after him harder then we ever could so hes refunding

Its funny though there are still those That think this is one big mistake and happened on accident he had a family emergency. and so on
He got caught and got scared is all

But it is awesome that people are getting there money back

wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! been gone a few days and didnt expect this! i guess i stand corrected. this was a scam. didnt see that one coming at all. so what now? im glad to see everyone getting their money but this also leaves a fairly large whole to fill in the community.someone ready to move and with the money/resources could make some money by stepping up right now.:th_lightbulb:

I don't have the option to escalate it either. Since the money is going to be refunded, I think that means this is basically resolved as far as paypal is concerned. The money is set to be refunded but I guess it takes a few days for it all to go through, thus it is pending. Hopefully when it does go through we will get the full amount. Since there are signs that TDC is the one doing the refunds then the money should be there.
