Ok guys were done with everything shes all put back together =] MINUS THE BLOWER......... =[ there was a TIP of a bolt that broke off and were not sure how the $(%$ to get it out my dad is going to talk to his buddy tomarrow to see if he has a "easy out" its just the TIP thats messing up the finishing progress..... didnt notice until we put the blower on and then the bolt wouldnt thread... its the bolt hole where its sleeved in the front by the boost valve.. im so pissed but hay stuff happens i guess any ideas to get her out? i dont have left hand threaded bits... i guess i will just have to wait and see if my dads buddy can help us out. :th_thumb-down: other then that she came along real well =]

update ENGINE IS BUILT =] awaiting on stand for cherry picker tomarrow she will be reunited again MUUUHAHAHAHA lol
 




Sounds like its goin good joe. Sorry to hear about the blower bolt glad u got that solved. I got mine finished last week. ive been drivin it since midnight thursday. Feels so good to have boost again!
 
yeah i miss my stereo and the whining blower =[ im driving a 92 grand am for now lol atleast its got the harder to find v6 instead of the 4cy lol anyways she is in tonight =] but now i ran into a snag i busted the coolant elbow and i dont know wtf i can get 1 at i wanna buy local. and finish it already. attach vaccum lines and fuel lines put intake on some connections 2 downpipe bolts and she should be brand new =] fingers crossed ha but wtf can i get this coolant elbow at its the lower. but i would rather replace both. i dont think autozone has them or advanced........ =[
 
I had to get mine from zzp autozone didn't have them.
I'm not doing my swap for a couple weeks so if you wanna take mine and buy me new ones I guess that's fine if you can't find them around. Did you try advance? I forgot they existed when I was buying parts lol.
 


Haha, if I had the cash I'd be gettin one from you mini but right now im kinda broke, had to cut down the hours at work cuz of school starting. But I know I will get it at some point and from what I've seen you do some pretty good work on the blowers/TBs so I'll probably be getting both ported. I really want the TB done soon though, I was told by a few people to buy a 99+ tb and have that ported? Is it worth it?
 
Sounds good joe. i know what u mean about missing the stereo an the blower. i was stuck driving either a mercury sable or my dads club cab dakota. both slow v6s. As far as the elbows get them at the dealer! They will for sure seal and they arent too expensive. i think i paid 17 or so for the pair an they come with new o rings on them. ive heard the help section ones from the local autoparts stores sometimes leak so i didnt take the risk.
 
I ported my 99 tb, it opens alot more volume. As for the elbows, i like my 3.99 elbows from the parts store, havent had a leak yet!!
