here it is, for your viewing pleasure. 2006 subaru impreza 2.5i. its got power locks, windows, cruise, etc. (all the normal options a new car would have). came stock with projectors so now i can see at night unlike the ****ty headlights im used to. its a 5 speed and fun as **** to drive compared to my grand prix. its not fast, but who needs fast when i can do all the shifting by myself? it handles like its on rails (took it on a couple spirited runs through the marquette interchange yesterday.

im not sure if i want to do anything to it for a while, but i think a little suspension work and opening up the intake and exhaust would make this car perfect for me. it'll never be really fast, but i dont need a fast car anymore.
 


My buddy has a wrx and his borla exhaust sounds great. Great car by the way. I am looking at a subie for my next car too. That wont be for a few years tho.
 
Congrats! You'll like it if you open up the exhaust. The unequal header lengths and the fact that it's a horizontally opposed engine makes the boxer sound good for a four cylinder. Sounds better than some V6s I've heard.

Stick is nice too. The most satisfying shift to me is 3rd->4th at WOT. Of course, that's like 80MPH...
 
yeah, for sure. i just have to check around and see what prices are for everything. im not sure i want to pay $1000 for a catback. :p
 


yeah, i want to do suspension work, an intake and a catback, tint the windows (maybe the tails?), and put some wheels on it. maybe a short throw shifter? then ill drive it until the wheels fall off.
 


nice car should hold up for ya gotta lover the boxer engine sound too!...stick is always great too...but personally i dont think i could do the 2.5i...i need something faster
 
first im going to add a short throw shifter, driving it today made me realize that the throw between gears is HUGE. then i would like to tint the windows and get it looking pretty.

this car im not going to spend my money all right away though, i dont have the coin to do that.
 


looks good..i like the design of the headlights, pretty sweet...
