DHP scanner problem

Weird problem here, every time I go do a scan the scanner freezes up/stops responding, but you can cancel out of it with no problems. I've checked everything and nothing seems to be causing it. Reinstalled the Keyspan drivers a few times and checked all connections. Tried reinstalling the tuner software a few times and still nothing helps. Could the Keyspan adapter be bad? **Also, the other night I reflashed the pcm and the car started shuttering at WOT. Did another partial flash and still doing it, so I did a full flash and all is good. Could these be both related issues?? thanks in advance guys
 


I could be off base here, so take it for what its worth, but I thought I had read somewhere that if you ran into that type of problem that you should slow the baud rate or something like that.

I have a DHP Tuner but I have never run into that issue before.
