I dont know anything about these cars so I dont even know what type it was. He was tailing me and I knew he was going to try and pass me. As soon as I noticed him go for the pass I floored it. We were doing about 50 when he pulled to pass and were side by side and when he eventually got in front my speedo was buried. It was def turbo, manual, and aftermarket exhaust but other then that I have no idea what it was, but it was fast lol. He waved bye to me in his rear view mirror which I thought was nice of him. Booo :(
 


Well I hate to say it but a lot of audis all look generally the same. It could have been an S4, A4 or A6. They all have turbos and look pretty close to the same. The A4's aren't that quick though but can be made to be quick.

I actually just got back from an Audi test drive. I drove a 2.0 turbo A4 and a 3.2 A6, both were s-lines. REALLY nice. The A4 was significantly lighter, so the suspension felt much tighter, and felt "zippy"...but it won't walk the GP. The A6 was cool, even had paddle shifters, but the 3.2 only has 255 HP and was a dog in that size of car. The ones I drove had the smaller engine, because you can put that 3.2 in an A4, and you can get a 4.8L v8 in an A6 as well. ..that's what they had on the lot.. I just ran out of time, but they also had an S4 and S6 out there to drive too...which are just stupid fast.

Also, an A4 is a jetta, and an A6 is a passat...but audi has waaay more stuff than just looks compared to VW...read QUATTRO.

audis can be made fast really easily. hell, a 2001 s4 can have just about 350 whp with JUST A TUNE, but thats a 2.7L TT beast.

the a4s with the 1.8T or 2.0T can be made pretty stout. with the right combination of mods they can push 400 whp fairly easily. i am thinking about pushing my girlfriend into one so i have a fun car to drive every so often since i have to be the man and get a truck.
