installing hv3/fuel rail ?s

hello guys. im about the purchase an hv3, and im reading through the procedure for removing the upper intake manifold in my service manual. everything sounds do-able to me except there is 1 area i have no experience in. it says im supposed to remove the fuel rails, and injectors. im basically wondering how do i undo the "feed" and "return" quick connect fittings, and also, it says to use a special tool when removing the injectors. is that necessary? or how do i remove an injector exactly? do they just pull out? are they locked in somehow?

Just unbolt the whole fuel rail assembly, 4 bolts, and pull it out of the manifold and lay it aside, leave everything connected.
