BTW, custom fabbed Turbo kit or store bought? Just curious. I wish i knew someone around here who could mandrel bend pipes, i'd go custom Turbo all the way...
 


Well ladies...Looks pretty grim for me. Bills hit me like a damned freight train and now I don't think the car is going to be done :(

Oh well. Now I just get to make it REALLY nice for next year :)

Well, right now - I want to do a custom build...I have a place that can/will do mandrel bends for me.

LOL Thanks Dave! I just threw all of my money into it and with being unemployed for nearly 4 months it really hit hard. I got mostly everything for it...the block is getting done now and should be back sometime this week. The heads too...I just did my first LIM porting last night...nothing short of rough but I'll be working on it some more :th_laugh-lol3:

I haven't canceled my hotel reservations just yet as maybe there is VISA hope LOL But it isn't looking pretty.
 
bills hit me hard every month, and im still gonna get my a$$ down there ; - P

Just might not be buying much except gas when i get there, hehe
 


well i may dissappoint yet again this year... only this time it is not in my control. there is still a possibility the GN will make it, just prey for it, lol
 
well like I said in the other thread....woo hoo its 3 weeks away. This years bgpm is going to be a blast, I am soooo ready for a mini vacation! I was nominated to help plan this years event and I am soooo excited to see this event come together this year. Dont let the long drive for many of your steer you away from going. Drive at night it will make the time go by quicker! You will be thanking yourself once you get there and you can unwind and relax while hanging out with old friends and making new ones. If you cant make it this year do start saving now and plan on making it next year! We will more than likely set the date at the awards dinner on Saturday for the 2010 get together so that everyone can return to work and put in for vacation and start saving. (its amazing how much change adds up over a year!!)

Cant wait to see old friends and make new in about 3 weeks!! Woo Hoo!!
 
Going to be a great event as usual~! Were going to do some fun extra activities this year again. Hopefully mother nature plays nice for a change.

Yup, Chris is a very busy man for sure, so if you dont see him, thats why. Dont fear.

Nick, I'd be pulling some good friend cards up there again, and see if you can get some much needed help to get your car rolling again. Might not hurt to have a couple of weeks of local drive time on it before you take it out of town.

Ed Morad will be coming to Branson this year. :) He is taking a few weeks in September to make the rounds and visit some friends around the "states".
 
So nice of him to visit us little people. ;)

Ed's a helluva nice guy - be good to see him again.
