A Few Pictures From Today (Fun Stuff)

Went out to the lake today with a friend of mine (JEFFSGTP) on ClubGP. He's looking to buy himself a Land Rover Disco as well in the near future so we decided to go play around a bit and see what a Land Rover could do.

We did much, much, worse stuff later on then what is shown here. It's just the fact that we couldn't really get out of the Land Rover and take a picture when there is water up over the hood of the vehicle. :D

We could of stayed longer but we ran out of trails that did'nt involve getting out of the vehicle every couple of hundred feet to clear mesquite trees out of the way. Jeff's utility tool worked awesome to cut most of them up but the trees got to the point of being ridiculously thick the further we went. So we left that for another day after I purchase a machete.

( Oh yeah, these are cell phone pictures. So excuse the quality. And feel free to comment. :p)

They are kinda purpose built to handle just what he is doing with them. GM, Ford, Dodge, all those have no idea what a true SUV is. In my opinion, while i would probably never own one, Land Rover is a TRUE SUV.

thats all the Croc hunter would use....... they are purpose built to handle off road situations...I even saw a documentry on them on TLC....

the max angles you can take before it is able to roll over..flip..etc.

not bad. changing brakes on them is soooooo easy.

I bet it is SUPER fun! But, I couldn't spend that much money and do that to it. We had a beat up Blazer. Thats all it was good for. Man it was fun! My daughter was 3. If we saw mud somewhere, she would ask if we could play in it. That Blazer was ugly. But it was cool when it was covered in mud (You couldn't tell it was beat up) :)

Thats looks like a lot of fun!

We took a honda accord through our pasture once, very fun times and that thing went through anything!
