So I had my car up on some jacks today because i was painting my wheels and I've been planning on getting a 2.5" bolt on catted ZZP DP and I was looking at the exhaust under the car and I could only see where it bolts on in the front of the car ... where does the DP bolt in the back? at the Y? because I saw no bolts to take out there. Anyone put one of these on before and have any help? thanks

it bolts up to the resonator unless someone has already replaced that section and welded it back together. you really should go for a 3" though..

AND...the resonator is the long ass thing that is cut off in the right side of the picture...should be 24" long IIRC...at least it is in the GP.

awesome thanks for the help guys, I jacked up the car just now and took a look at all of that, and just one more question where is the PLOG? I'm gonna just buy both and try and get them done all at once lol

the PLOG is not a stock piece of equipment. It is short for powerlog and manufactured by zzp as a bolt in replacement for the front manifold. It flows better than ported manifolds but not as well as the headers....the rear manifolds in our cars are made well enough for flow until getting past the 3.4 setup or just about any non supercharged setup short of a major HP beast........fwiw.

haha in that case then where can i find the front manifold to replace it with a PLOG? and thanks again to everyone for their help

you can find the plog at zzperformance.com just do a search under powerlog and you will see it. If you cant find it, let us know and we will get you a link....you can choose your size, if you want aluminized or stainless, cat or no cat, new gaskets, and also if you want a rear o2 sensor in it or not...........

On zzp click on products and then exhaust. It's like the second one. And just open your hood, look at your engine cover then look down lol

So if im standing in the front of the car its like directly across the enging from me by the heat shield between the engine and the driver? and how would i get there to take it out and put a PLOG in?

no, its in between the radiator fans and the engine. if we need to tell you where the front manifold is should you really be working on cars?
